I decided to go down and play in my log cabin today - but when I got there, I was astonished by the scene that awaited me. Just inside the door it looked like something had been chewing the logs, and there was a big pile of wood shavings all over the front step. I had to go and borrow a brush to sweep it all up.
It didn't take long to clear up the mess, but what is bothering me is what on earth can have made it in the first place. I mean, rodents are the usual culprits when it comes to chewing stuff, but all the mice in the village say they haven't been to my cabin at all, and even the baby guinea pig has an alibi. So what's going on?
